On the 22nd of November, Tuesday, the senior leader Mr. Marri Shashidhar Reddy of the Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) submitted his resignation letter.  He later, addressed a press conference and said that the Indian National Congress has not been able to effectively take on the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) in the Telugu State

Mr. Marri Shashidhar Reddy further said,  the influence of money was growing in party affairs, hence he is making an exit and announced his resignation. He said, “The talk that Telangana Congress leadership has compromised with TRS has gone deep into the people.  Due to this, Congress has gradually lost the confidence of the people who don’t trust it as there is no guarantee party leaders would continue in the party after being voted to victory.”
