Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) Minister is all set to inaugurate the Skywalk at Uppal.  

Built by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) at a cost of Rs. 25 crores, the Uppal Skywalk would ease the traffic in Hyderabad, making travel easy for commuters,  It has six hop on stations, equipped with facilities like elevators, staircases and pedestrian movement.  The length of the skywalk is 660 meters and has a width of 3 meters, 4 meters and bulges to 6 meters at a few stretches.

On the 26th of June, Monday, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao would also inaugurate a Convention Hall in the premises of Mini Shilparamam, Uppal.  Highlighting the construction of the Convention Hall, located in the premises of Mini Shilparamam, Uppal, it can accommodate around 1,000 people.  It has been built by the HMDA with Rs. 10 crores. 

After inauguration, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Working President of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) would address a public meeting at Uppal Municipal Ground.
