On the 8th of July, Saturday, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology and Urban Development Minister of Telangana, took a dig at Mr. Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India.

Taaking to Twitter, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao said that the Central Government led by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) failed to fulfil promises and bring development projects in Telangana.

His tweet read, “PM @NarendraModi Ji, The long-standing dream of the people of Telangana for an integrated steel plant at Bayyaram remains unfulfilled, despite being promised in the AP Reorg Act. Even after 9 years, and several reminders, the BJP-led Union Government’s continued denial is deeply disheartening. Bayyaram has all the necessary resources, from iron ore to land, water, power, coal, and a skilled workforce. Your visible apathy towards Telangana is concerning and it denies job opportunities for 15,000 local youngsters. We demand that a strong commitment regarding the establishment of the Steel Plant at Bayyaram be made during your visit to Telangana.”

In another reshared tweet, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao mentioned, ” Shri  @narendramodiji, This is a reminder that our Minister @KTRBRS garu personally met and requested you with a detailed report on Bayyaram Steel Plant and also sought to allocate Iron Ore from Bailadila.. The below is also letter of Ministry of Mines to Ministry of Steel regarding Govt of Telangana’s proposal to reserve 327.46 sq kms . But, your Government of India has failed to keep up its promise to Telangana!”
