Hyderabad: Former Telangana minister K. Tarakarama Rao (KTR) launched a scathing attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), labeling it a “carafe of corrupt people” in response to Prime Minister Modi’s recent comments on X. KTR recalled Modi’s accusations against “Chhota Boy” for allegedly collecting illegal taxes, questioning the Prime Minister’s inaction if such corruption indeed exists.

Highlighting the misuse of central investigation agencies against political adversaries, KTR challenged Modi’s stance on corruption within his own party ranks. Expressing dismay over the lack of progress in securing the state’s rights, particularly regarding the Kaleswaram project, KTR lamented the absence of equitable treatment.

Accusing the government of targeting opponents with baseless cases and arbitrary arrests, KTR condemned the erosion of democratic values and transparency in governance.

As political tensions escalate, KTR’s critique underscores growing dissent within the opposition ranks and raises pertinent questions about accountability and integrity in political discourse.
