Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology and Urban Development Minister of Telangana, shared a success story of the Dalit Bandhu Scheme, which provides Rs. 10 lakh to beneficiary.

Taking to Twitter, the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) leader said, “Another success story of Telangana Dalit Bandhu scheme Chedala Durgaiah & Suman, who used to be farm workers, have now become proud owners of a poultry farm.  I’ll be inaugurating it today at Gandi Lachapet village in Siricilla. My special compliments to @Collector_RSL.”

Notably, the poultry is the hard work of the two beneficiaries of the Dalit Bandhu scheme. Chedala Durgaiah and Chedala Suman established the farm.  Two Dalit brothers started a poultry farm together with the application of the scheme and transformed their life of being labourers as entrepreneurs  owners of a poultry farm with their Dalit cousin.

Earlier, a similar story was shared by Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, three beneficiaries of the Dalit Bandhu Scheme established a rice mill, named  Vijaylaxmi Industry, in the State.

The journey from being a beneficiary of the Dalit Bandhu Scheme to being an entrepreneur is inspiring, for the Dalits in the Telugu State of Telangana. This is a revolution for the Dalits of Telangana, who could use the scheme and get out of a life of being just laborers for others.
