KTR Praises CM KCR For Distributing 4.06 Lakh Acres Land To Tribals

In a Twitter post, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology and Urban Development Minister of Telangana, praised the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) Government.

In a long post, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao said, under the leadership of Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, the State witnessed a huge progress with several welfare schemes.  He said all the promises made in the BRS Manifesto in 2018 elections, were not just slogans, but reality of the Telugu State for its citizens. 

He said, “Today 1.51 lakh people have a total of 4.60 lakh acres of “Zameen” (sic.)

Notably, on the 30th of June, Friday, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao distributed land pattas to 1.51 lakh tribals in Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Telangana.  In addition, the land distribution would continue in other regions of Telangana by BRS ministers.

Ministers  like Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, Mr. Satyavathy Rathore, Mr. T. Harish Rao and Mr. Puvvada Ajay Kumar would participate in the distribution program of the wards in Mahabubabad district.  It is to be noted, under the Forest Rights Act 2005, rights over 4.06 lakh acres have been distributed to 1.51 lakh tribals in the state at once.  

With this distribution, Telangana would also be amongst the Indian states with the highest number of forest lands.  The other states are Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh.
