K.T. Rama Rao, the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister and the Information Technology, Electronics and Communications Minister of Telangana, visited Tirumala on the 5th of January.

KTR visited Tirumala for the Vaikunta Uttara Dwara darshan at the Lord Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple.  The visit was planned in view of the auspicious occasion of Vaikunta Ekadashi.

Mr. Rao, along with his wife, daughter and other family members, offered a special prayer in the early hours of the 6th of January.

Mr. Rao, who left on the evening of the 5th of January, is expected to return to Hyderabad on the evening of the 6th of January.

Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) Government ministers, Members of Parliament (MPs) and Chief Whip Chevireddy Bhasker Reddy welcomed KTR and his family at the Renigunta Airport.
