Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology and Urban Development Minister of Telangana, on the 13th of July, Wednesday, launched the book Charitraputallo Telangana, edited by Prof Laxman.

During the launch event at Hyderabad Growth Corridor Central Office, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao expressed concern that at a time when there is a need to progress in all the sectors, the references to caste and religion would cause serious damage to the country. 

Taking a dig at the ongoing attacks and violence related to casteism and religion, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao said, students studying world history should focus on the undesirable events happening in the country at present.   He said, “When there is an attack on humanity in the country, thoughtful youth should respond.” 

Mr. K.T. Rama Rao said, if students and youth of India instead of studying history, would get involved in the fight for the sake of caste and religion.  Furthermore, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Minister Mr. K.T. Rama Rao aka KTR, said religion had become like a drug in the country and the entire society of Telangana needs to be vigilant. 

Concluding the speech at the event, KTR congratulated the professors who have documented the history of Telangana.  

Moreover, the launch event of the  Charitraputallo Telangana  (History of Telangana) book was attended by Telangana Sahitya Academy Chairman Mr. J. Gauri Shankar, Prof.  Mr. G. Laxman, Prof. M. Venkateswara Rao and Hyderabad Book Fair Secretary  Mr. K. Chandramohan.
