K.T. Rama Rao, the Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MAUD) Minister of Telangana, launched Swachh auto tipper vehicles. The launch event was held at the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority (HMDA) ground near IMAX theatre on the 25th of March.

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi(TRS) Government took the initiative of launching swachh auto tipper vehicles to keep the City clean. The door to door garbage collection drive would have 300 vehicles, which would be used to collect garbage. These 300 vehicles are in addition to the existing 2,500 vehicles, which are already being used to keep the City clean. The door to door garbage is an initiative to make Hyderabad a binless City

He believes, the duty of keeping the City clean, should not only be the responsibility of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) alone and urged people to come forward and give waste to the Swachh autos.

Sanitation has been a major agenda of the ruling TRS Government. The K. Chandrashekar Rao led Government is working to have a clean and sanitized State effortlessly.
