Mr. K.T. Rama Rao inaugurated the new manufacturing plant of Radiant Appliances and Electronics at Hitech City, in Hyderabad, on the 2nd of May, Monday.

During the inauguration, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao said,  “State which is having two electronic manufacturing clusters are functioning successfully and the government is now moving forward to set up two more of such clusters.” 

The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Working President said the State Government would focus on creating job opportunities for about 16 lakh people in the next decade and would generate a revenue of over Rs. 2.5lakh crore in the electronic segment. 

KTR further said the K. Chandrashekar Rao led TRS Government is focusing to attract more manufacturing units to set up or expand their operations.  Furthermore, approximately 15,000 people are being employed in the Electronic City in a year.  

The TRS Minister also appreciated the TRS Government, which provided an uninterrupted power supply to the industries and other customers.   KTR said, “ Reliable power is key for a sector like an electronics manufacturing.”

Meanwhile, Radiant now makes LED TVs for many brands, accounting to 25% of TVs made in India, which has now been increased to 4.5 million TVs per year, from the previous 2.1 million TVs.  The growth of the Radiant in production came amid an investment of Rs. 100 crores along with further employment of 1,000 people.

With such investment and units in Telangana, the State would soon be rich in the electronic sector, providing employment to the youths of the State.
