Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology and Urban Development Minister of Telangana, is in Switzerland.

According to the Ministry of Information Technology and Urban Development, KTR left for Switzerland to attend the Meet and Greet Programme organised on the 16th of January, Monday.  Expatriate Indians in Zurich organised the event as a part of the welcome of Mr. K.T. Rama Rao.

Speaking at the ”Meet and Greet” programme, the Telangana Minister elaborated on the ”astounding progress” achieved by the Telangana Government since the bifurcation of Telangana as an independent state in 2014.   He also discussed the development projects and other achievements under the leadership of Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana.

Furthermore, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao also asked the Non Resident Indians (NRIs) to be the state’s goodwill ambassadors, participate in government’s programmes like Mana Ooru – Mana Badi and promote Telangana and India in abroad.

After attending the Meet and Greet programme, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao would head to Davos to participate in the World Economic Forum (WEF) scheduled in Davos, Switzerland.  The event is scheduled to begin from the 16th of January and would conclude on the 20th of January.
