Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Information Technology and Urban Development Minister of Telangana, distributed laptops and uniforms to students of the Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowlege (RGUKT) Basar, Telangana.
On the 10th of December, Saturday, KTR gave away laptops and uniforms at a programme held on the campus. KTR was accompanied by Ms. P. Sabitha Indra Reddy, the Education Minister of Telangana, along with Government Whip Mr. Balka Suman participated in the event, organised on the occasion of the 5th convocation of the institution. During the event, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao handed over laptops and uniforms to students of Pre University Course (PUC) I year.
KTR said, the Minister ensured better quality infrastructure at the campus and enhanced technology for the education of the students. Later, he also conducted a review meeting with the administration of the Institution.
During the review meeting, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Minister discussed the progress of developmental works, steps to improve academic performance of the students and the provision of employment and higher education opportunities.
The event was attended by the administration of RGUKT Basara, Education Department officials and other ministers of Telangana.
