Mr. Koppula Eshwar, the Telangana Social Welfare Minister is inspecting the construction works of 125 feet B.R. Ambedkar Statue.

On the 28th of November, Monday, Mr. Koppula Eshwar, a Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) leader, informed that the construction of the 125 feet long statue of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar is set to be completed near NTR Gardens in Hyderabad.  The statue which was approved by the K. Chandrashekar Rao led TRS Cabinet would be ready by February 2023. 

Mr. Koppula Eshwar inspected the construction works along with Mr. Vemula Prashanth Reddy, the Roads and Buildings Minister of Telangana.  After the inspection, the TRS Minister Mr. Koppula Eshwar said that the State Government is constructing the Ambedkar Smruthi Vanam on 11.5 acres of land along with the construction of a meditation center, photo gallery, meeting hall, and a film theatre, among other amenities.  He further said the works are going on at a brisk pace and the Smruthi Vanam is going to be shaped as per the wishes of Chief Minister of Telangana Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao. 

Meanwhile, the huge Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Statue and Ambedkar Smruthi Vanam is set to be inaugurated on the 14th of April, 2023, the 132nd Ambedkar Jayanti, the birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, the father of the Indian Constitution.
