Key IPS officers transferred at Telangana

Hyderabad: CM Revanth Reddy had focused on strengthening Hyderabad city police. Telangana government transferred a few key IPS officers on Sunday.

Viswaprasad is appointed as additional commissioner of police (traffic wing), AV Ranganath is posted as SIT and Crime wing joint commissioner. SM Vijaya Kumar is appointed as deputy commissioner of Police (DCP) West Zone.

Joel Davis is appointed as DCP of the special branch. Rohini Priyadarshini is appointed as North Zone DCP. N Swetha is appointed as DCP of City Crime Stoppers (CCS). S Subba Raidu is appointed as DCP-1 traffic. 

Task force DCP Nitakpanth, CCS joint CP Gajarao Bhupal North Zone DCP Chandana Deepthi were attached to the DGP office.

Five non-cadre SPs were also transferred.
