K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana is on a three day visit to New Delhi.

The visit amid the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 was organised to lay the foundation stone for the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) office in the National Capital.

Mr. Rao during his Delhi visit is also scheduled to meet with a few Union ministers.

The TRS President is going to meet Gajendra Singh Shekhawat, the Union Jal Shakti Minister on the 11th of December.

On the 12th of December, KCR would meet Hardeep Singh Puri, the Union Civil Aviation and Housing and Urban Affairs Minister.

On the same day, The Telangana Chief Minister would visit the site allocated by the Central Government to set up the TRS party office in New Delhi.

However, the timing of Mr. Rao’s visit raised eyebrows and made headlines.

Mr. Rao’s Delhi tour became a topic of debate in political circles, especially after his recent comments against the opposition Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP.)

During the recent Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections the tiff between the TRS and the BJP was visible.

In addition, the TRS also announced to stand as a Federal Front playing an active role in the national politics against the BJP and the Indian National Congress (INC.)
