Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, along with the CMs of three states, visited the renovated Yadadri Temple, ahead of the Khammam Public Meeting.

On the 18th of January, Wednesday, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, the CM of Delhi, Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan, the CM of Kerala and Mr. Bhagwant Mann, the CM of Punjab and other political leaders visited the Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple.

After relaunching itself as a national party the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS,) formerly known as the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS,) this is the first public meeting of KCR.  To make the Khammam Public Meeting a grand success, the BRS cadres and workers made elaborate arrangements.  The leaders of parties opposed to the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP,) like Mr. Akhilesh Yadav, Mr. M.K. Stalin, the leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party and others landed in Hyderabad to attend the meeting.

Highlighting the arrangements, approximately 5,000 police personnel were deployed at the venue in Khammam.  In addition, 28 digital screenings were installed at the venue, 1,000 volunteers were deployed to help guests at the event and cameras were installed ensuring safety at the grand meeting venue in Khammam.

The entire Khammam city has been turned pink with banners and hoardings of CM KCR, Mr. Arvind Kejriwal,  Mr. P. Vijayan and CM Bhagwant Mann.  Mr. T. Harish Rao, the Finance and Health Minister of Telangana and Mr. P. Ajay, the Transport Minister of Telangana, along with government officials in Khammam inspected all the arrangements for the CM and VIP guest visit.  In addition, the event would be attended by approximately 5 lakh people.

The BRS Public Meeting holds an important significance as it is the first meeting after the launch of  “Is Bar Kisan Sarkar’ slogan of the Telangana Government, who is aiming to contest the national elections in 2024.  Furthermore, the BRS is also set to launch its offices and buildings in states like Maharashtra, Odisha, Andhra Pradesh, Punjab, Haryana and Karnataka.
