K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, called for a meeting on the 11th of January.

The meeting would be chaired by the Telangana CM and the President of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS.)

The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) released an official notification regarding the same on the 9th of January.

All the state ministers and district collectors would be a part of the 11th January meeting. During the meeting, Mr. Rao is expected to discuss arrangements for the Novel Coronavirus vaccine distribution and revenue related issues.

In addition, the Telangana CM would also ascertain the preparedness of the authorities regarding the distribution of vaccine from village to corporation level.

During the meeting, KCR would also discuss the ongoing issues related to the new Revenue Act.

Other major discussions to be held during the meeting include precautions to curb the spread of COVID-19, resuming classes in educational institutions in the State and an action plan for the distribution and administering of the coronavirus vaccine to people.

Besides COVID-19, the State Government’s flagship green drive of ‘Haritha Haram’ and ‘Palle Pragathi’ (progress of villages) and ‘Pattana Pragati’ (progress of towns) programmes would also be a major agenda of the meeting.

Meanwhile, on the 8th of January, as per the directions of the Central Government, the Telangana Government is conducting the vaccine dry run for COVID-19 vaccine.
