K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR,) the Chief Minister of Telangana, is all set to visit Kaleshwaram Project, situated on the Godavari river, Telangana.

The one day visit started from the Begumpet Airport, where KCR took a helicopter and traveled to get an aerial view of the Godavari river.  He will also visit Medigadda Barrage and Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Temple in Dharmapuri.

The engineers and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) officials made all the necessary arrangements for the one day visit.

The areas where KCR is expected to go, such as Medigadda, Annamram, Sundilla and Kaleshwaram, were inspected by the engineers.  KCR is accompanied by the engineers working on the Kaleshwaram project and Irrigation Department officials.

Telangana CM will also monitor the flow of water and the release of water downstream, following which, he will visit Golivada Pumphouse and see the Yellampalli Barrage.

Mr. Rao will be back to Hyderabad late evening, on the 6th of August.
