K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, on the 10th of December, laid the foundation stone for the Information Technology (IT) tower in Siddipet. 

The new initiative towards the development of Siddipet district was taken by the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government.

The foundation ceremony was held at Duddeda Village, in Kondapaka mandal of Siddipet district.

According to sources, the IT tower with 60,000 square feet is a result of an agreement signed between KCR’s TRS Government and four United States (U.S.,) based IT firms.

The tower would be constructed in the village at a cost of Rs. 45 crores.

The companies would start operating from the IT tower after completion of the construction.

The new IT tower in Siddipet would give employment to as many as 900 educated youth.

Since 2014, the TRS Government is aiming towards the development of the State.

After Hyderabad, the KCR led Telangana Government is working to spread the IT sector in every district of the State.

As of now, Hyderabad is one of the most developed IT hubs in India.

Besides laying the foundation of the IT tower in Siddipet, Mr. Rao inaugurated following projects:

Inauguration of Telangana Bhavan, Ponnal.

Inauguration of Rithu Vedika at Mitta Palli Village.

Inauguration of Government Medical College and Laying the foundation stone for Hospital Block, Siddipet.

Komati Cheruvu Necklace Road at Komati Cheruvu.

Inauguration of 2BHK Houses (2460) at KCR Nagar.

Inauguration of Underground Drainage System at Chintal Cheruvu.

Inauguration of Sri Ranganayakasagar Guest House.

Later, Mr. Rao also addressed a public meeting at the Government Degree college ground.

All the arrangements of Mr. Rao’s visit were ensured under the supervision of the Telangana Finance Minister, T. Harish Rao.
