Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, inaugurated the Medchal integrated district office complex in the State.  

After inaugurating the complex office on the 17th of August, Wednesday, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao addressed the media and the citizens of Telangana.  Speaking on the occasion, KCR said that the conspiracies were being hatched to divide the country in the name of caste and religion.

Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao said,  “The fruits of freedom will reach everyone when people live unitedly irrespective of caste and religion.  We should develop the country on the lines of China, Singapore and Korea.”  KCR added, “The time has come for a qualitative change in the country and people should think in this direction.” 

Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the President of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) also highlighted the welfare works of the State Government.   KCR said the TRS led State Government was providing Aasara pensions to 36 lakh people to support the deprived communities.  Furthermore, 10 lakh new pensions have also been granted in 2022, which took the total number of pensioners in the State to 46 lakh beneficiaries, till date.

Highlighting the developments under the TRS Government, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao said, during the united State of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, there were reports of power cuts, that people staged protests.  However, after the bifurcation, and formation of Telangana as a separate Telugu State, the State was freed from power cuts and many welfare schemes were launched in the State.  KCR claimed that Telangana was the lone state in the country that provides 24 hours quality power to all sectors, which resulted in the shutting down of shops of inverters, converters and generators in Telangana.

Furthermore, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao also said, in terms of agriculture and irrigation also, the State has developed and grew with schemes and technologies.  KCR said his administration created clusters for every 5,000 acres and constructed 2,601 Rythu Vedikas. 

KCR said, “The State Government allocated Rs. 5 crores each to 7 assembly constituencies under Constituency Development Fund.  In addition, Rs 10 crore funds will be earmarked to every assembly segment (sic.)”

Furthermore, Telangana State has the highest per capita of Rs. 2,78,500 in the country, which has been possible due to the corruption free administration and constant efforts of the State Government.
