K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, is on a one day tour to the Gajwel Assembly constituency in Telangana.

During his one day visit, Chandrashekar Rao inaugurated a forest college, the State Horticulture University and an integrated vegetarian and non vegetarian market in Gajwel respectively.

Supervised by T. Harish Rao, the Finance Minister of Telangana and the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Siddipet, along with Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) workers organised welfare and cultural programmes to welcome KCR.

Mr. Rao participated in the welfare programme by laying the foundation for an underground drainage system and a mother and child care hospital.

After the inauguration of the university and college, Mr. Rao conducted a review meeting with the TRS officials.

Mr. Rao is expected to return to Hyderabad by 4:30 P.M.  After his return to Hyderabad, Mr. Rao is going to chair a Cabinet meeting scheduled at 5:00 P.M., at Pragati Bhavan, Hyderabad.
