K. Chandrashekar Rao (KCR,) the Chief Minister of Telangana, on the 24th of September, announced Palla Rajeshwar Reddy as the person in charge of the Huzurnagar bypoll.
Palla Rajeshwar Reddy is currently serving as the General Secretary and Whip of the Telangana State. He is also a member of the State Legislative Council.
Mr. Rao instructed Mr. Reddy to coordinate with State ministers, the Members of Parliament (MPs,) the Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) and the Members of the Legislative Councils (MLCs) from the district. Mr. Reddy would stay at Huzurnagar and supervise all the necessary arrangements and strategize for the TRS for the upcoming Huzurnagar bypoll.
The Huzurnagar bypoll is scheduled to be held on the 21st of October and the results for the same will be announced on the 24th of October.
Apart from the Huzurnagar bypoll, Palla Rajeshwar Reddy will also be in charge of the upcoming municipal elections in Telangana.
The official announcement regarding the dates is yet to be made.
