Ms. K. Kavitha, the Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) held a meeting a senior Supreme Court (SC) advocate.

After leaving the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Delhi, the daughter of Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, met the lawyer, Advocate Rakesh Choudhary and sought legal advice in connection with the ED notice for interrogation in the Delhi Liquor Policy Scam.

Notably, the ED grilled Ms. K. Kavitha, a major suspect from ‘south central’ in money laundering allegation of the scam, for hours and questioned her role.  After long interrogation, the ED released Ms. K. Kavitha, just to issue notice and asking her to appear before the ED again, later today, the 21st of March, Tuesday.

However, prior to visit the ED Office again, Ms. K. Kavitha visited Rakesh Chaudhary’s office in the morning and discussed the manner in which the authorities were conducting the investigation.

The focus of the discussion was reportedly on the possibility of Kavitha being called as a suspect and interrogated for hours.   Following the meeting, Kavitha returned to KCR’s house before heading to the ED office later in the day.
