Mr. Dinesh Paruchuri, the Indian Revenue Service officer, has been appointed as Aditional Director of the Enforcement Directorate(ED) at Hyderabad. 

The appointment of Mr. Dinesh Paruchuri came after the ED Joint Director Abhishek Goyal, who was heading the ED Hyderabad unit, has been transferred to another key post in Mumbai zone-2.  Mr. Abhishek Goyal has also been given the additional charges of Panaji and Raipur zones, in effect from the 11th of August.

Furthermore, after the transfer of Mr. Abhishek Goyal,  Mr. Dinesh Paruchuri succeeded Mr. Abhishek Goyal and became the ED Hyderabad head.  The appointment of Mr. Dinesh Paruchuri came at a time when the Hyderabad ED is handling many high-profile money laundering cases including the Tollywood drug scandal, the Chikoti Praveen Casnio case, and others.

In regard to this, the ED officially issued a communication that read, “Dinesh Paruchuri is appointed as additional director on deputation in the directorate.”
