Mr. K.T. Rama Rao, the Telangana Minister for Urban Development and Municipal Administration of Telangana, took a dig at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP.)
On the 18th of February, Friday, Mr. K.T. Rama Rao said, the country made a huge mistake by electing Narendra Modi as Prime Minister in the 2014 election. He said, “He (PM Narendra Modi) assured the people of bringing change in their lives but he sold the Insurance company which was meant to insure their lives.”
He criticized the BJP led Central Government and said, BJP leaders are stupid and no one should be afraid of their threats. During an event in Rajanna Sircilla on Friday, KTR said, “Those who were against the formation of Telangana were creating doubts in the minds of the people. But within 8 years Telangana has become the most progressive and model state in the country.”
Mr. Rama Rao was addressing an event to celebrate the Telangana Bill, which was passed in the Parliament eight years ago, the 19th of February 2014. He said, “It was this day when the Telangana bill was passed in the Parliament 8 years ago.”
The statements came after the recent criticism of the BJP leaders against the Telangana Chief Minister Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao and the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government.
It is to be noted, since the past few days, the TRS and the BJP unit in Telangana have indulged in war of words, criticising each other in Telangana.
