Mr. Rahul Gandhi, the former President of the Indian National Congress (INC,) is scheduled to visit Telangana, on the 6th of May.  The visit is in view of the upcoming Rythu Sangharshana public meeting addressed by Mr. Rahul Gandhi in Warangal.

In regard to this, on the 18th of April, Senior leaders of the Telangana Pradesh Congress leaders including the TPCC Working President Mr. Anjan Kumar Yadav, the former minister Mr. Sambhani Chandrasekhar and the Warangal DCC President Mr. Naini Rajender Reddy conducted a meeting.  The leaders furthermore inspected Arts and Science College grounds, where the meeting is scheduled to held.  After the meeting, the TPCC leaders addressed the media and said, both the governments (the Telangana Government and the Central Government) cheated the youth by promising jobs.  Mr. Anjan Kumar Yadav said, “Congress fought for India’s independence and the Congress gave Telangana State.  Former prime ministers Indira Gandhi and Rajeev Gandhi sacrificed their lives for the country.” 

In addition, the TPCC Working President also highlighted the ongoing paddy procurement issue in the State and alleged Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the situation and loss of farmers of Telangana.

Meanwhile, the public meeting of the TPCC on the 6th of May is said to be a huge event, organised with the participation of the National INC leaders in Telangana’s Warangal district.  On the 1st of May, the TPCC President Mr. A. Revanth Reddy would visit Warangal to inspect all the arrangements of the meeting, addressed by the INC leader Mr. Rahul Gandhi.
