After Andhra Pradesh, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a rain alert for the neighboring Telugu State, Telangana.

As per the IMD forecast, a few regions of Telangana would receive moderate to light rainfall in the State.  Six districts in Telangana; Peddapalli, Vikarabad, Mahabubnagar, Jogulamba Gadwal, Nalgonda, and Khammam would witness rainfall for the next 24 hours, the 24th of March.

The light rainfall started on the evening of the 22nd of March and is expected to continue till the 24th of March.  Furthermore, in the last 24 hours, Gundala in Bhadradri Kothagudem received the highest rainfall of 17.6 mm.

In addition, for the next three days, maximum temperatures are expected to be in the range of 37 degrees to 40 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperatures are to be in the range of 21 degrees to 24 degrees Celsius.  Furthermore, the IMD also issued a yellow alert for Hyderabad, for the next two days, the 24th and the 25th of March.
