The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a forest rain alert in the Telugu states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

According to the weather department in Hyderabad and Amaravati, there is a possibility of rain in both the Telugu states from the night of the 28th of October, Friday.  

The weather department also said that there is a possibility of forming a low pressure over Tamil Nadu between Sri Lanka and there are indications that this low pressure will turn into a trough and then turn into a severe trough. 

Moreover, low pressure is likely in the Bay of Bengal with the southwest monsoon season causing rains in southern India, under the influence of the northeast monsoon.
