Hyderabad: West Zone Task Force Arrests 11 People For Playing Cards 

On the 31st of October, the West Zone task force police arrested 11 people for playing cards. 

According to the law playing cards for money, whether in public or private space is an illegal offence. Playing cards for money constitutes gambling, which is an illegal offence under the Public Gambling Act 1867.

The arrested people including four women were allegedly playing cards at a residence in Jubilee Hills, Hyderabad.

According to sources, the police raided the house and caught all the accused red handed of playing cards. The police also seized Rs. 3.45 lakhs cash.

As of now, the arrested persons were shifted to Jubilee Hills police and an investigation was launched.
