The Hyderabad Metro Rail Limited (HMRL) announced to extend of metro trains’ timing till 12:00 midnight, in view of the ongoing exhibition, Numaish in Nampally.

On the 3rd of January, the HMRL Management announced the same and said, the trains on the red line (L.B. Nagar to Miyapur) and the blue line (Nagole to Raidurg) will run till 12:00 A.M.  It means, the last metro would be at 12 midnight, reaching stations by 1:00 A.M.

In addition, ticket counters at Gandhi bhavan metro station have also increased from four to six to cater to the Numaish rush.  With this arrangement in effect immediately, the people visiting Numaish in the evening hour would be relaxed without worrying about the metro timings, which was 11:00 P.M., previously.

Furthermore, the Hyderabad Police also urged people to take public transport instead of own vehicle for the Numaish exhibition, as it would help to reduce traffic congestion and parking problems.

The annual exhibition of Numaish officially known as the All India Industrial Exhibition started in Hyderabad on the 1st of January and is expected to continue till the 15th of February, in Nampally, Hyderabad, Telangana.
