In a recent development in the Hyderabad gangrape case, four minor accused who have allegedly involved in the crime were granted bail.

On the 27th of July, another accused in the Hyderabad Jubilee Hills Gang Rape case of minor has been given bail, concerned of his age.  The Juvenile Justice Board granted bail to all the four accused, including the son of a legislator are now released from a juvenile home where they had been kept after their detention, officials said.  Fifth Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate cum Juvenile Justice Board issued the bail orders to the four minors.

However, the fifth accused, who is also a minor would remain in the juvenile home as he had approached the Telangana High Court for bail, whereas other approached the Juvenile Board. 

Moreover, Saduddin Mallik, the only adult accused in the crime was also refused bail and is under police custody. 

The minor accused are students of Class 11 and 12 and they all hail from politically influential families. 

In Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills, an incident of gang rape was reported on the 3rd of June.
