Bandaru Dattatreya, the Governor of Himachal Pradesh, escaped an accident.

On the 14th of December, Mr. Dattatreya escaped the car accident without any serious injury.

According to sources, Mr. Dattatreya’s driver lost control of the vehicle at Choutuppal Mandal in Yadadri Bhongir district, Telangana.

As per the driver, the steering locked when the car was moving, following which car turned left and went off the road.

K. Narayan Reddy, the Deputy Commissioner of Yadadri Bhongir district, said, “The car had a problem with the steering wheel. The driver of the car carrying the Governor managed to navigate to the left side of the road to avoid a major collision and hit a tree. Both the Governor and the driver escaped without any injuries.”

The incident took place when Mr. Dattatreya was traveling to Nalgonda from Hyderabad for an event.

Mr. Dattatreya, his personal assistant and the driver were in the car during the incident.

Mr. Reddy further added, “The Governor shifted to another vehicle in the convoy and proceeded with his journey.”

No one was injured in the incident and Mr. Dattatreya continued with his scheduled plan and went to Nalgonda.
