Hyderabad: Telangana government changed the name of Praja Darbar public grievance program to ‘Praja Vani’. Chief minister A Revanth Reddy conducted Praja Darbar at Mahatma Jyotirao Phule Praja Bhavan (formerly Pragathi Bavan) on December 8, 2022. He announced that a public grievance program will be conducted on Tuesday and Friday. Thousands of people made a bee line at Praja Bhavan to submit representations.

On Monday the government took a key decision renaming the grievance program as ‘Praja Vani’. Officials said that a total of 4471 applications were received on Monday at Praja Bhavan and majority of them are related to double bedroom houses, pensions, Dharani portal and others. A total of 1143 requests were received on Monday alone, authorities said.

CM Revanth Reddy and other ministers are likely to participate in ‘Praja Vani’ on Tuesday. CM Revanth Reddy directed officials to develop a mechanism to track the status of requests and complaints raised in ‘Praja Vani’.
