Goldman Sachs To Expand Its Office And Set Up In Hyderabad

The Goldman Sachs Group is all set to expand its businesses in Hyderabad, as its second office in India

The Goldman Sachs is one of the global investment banking companies. The company is a securities and investment management firm that provides a wide range of financial services to corporations, financial institutions, governments and individuals.

The company decided to set its company in Hyderabad as expansion.  

This is a part of the firm’s India location strategy to diversify its geographic presence and enhance talent reach, to support the growing global businesses and enhance long-term competitiveness.

The new Hyderabad office would be the second location for Goldman Sachs Services in India.

The first one is in Bengaluru.

The announcement came after representatives of Goldman Sachs interacted with K.T.Rama Rao, the Information and Technology, Electronics and Communications Minister of Telangana.

The representative of the Goldman Sachs explained their plans to KTR about the Hyderabad expansion.

The meeting was held through a video conferencing.

In regard to the proposal, KTR responded positively and stated that the Government would provide complete support to the firm in their future ventures.

The new office here is expected to commence in the second half of 2021 with about 500 employees, and has potential for future growth.
