K.T. Rama Rao, the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister of Telangana made headlines over the past few days.
Buzz of KTR being the next Chief Minister of Telangana became louder after Deputy Chief Minister of Telangana Padma Rao Goud congratulated KTR as the next Telangana CM.
Recently, the Telangana Animal Husbandry Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav added to the growing buzz.
Speaking at a function in Hyderabad Mr. Yadav said he saw nothing wrong in KTR becoming chief minister as he was already TRS working president. He said, “KCR will take the decision (on making KTR CM) at an appropriate time. All his decisions have proved to be correct in the past six years.”
Going a step further TRS MLA from Bodhan, Shakeel Ahmed also said he would like to see the next assembly session (budget session in February or early March) led by KTR.
Mr. Ahmed said, “The state is progressing under the leadership of CM KCR. If KTR becomes CM, the state will prosper further. It would also mean more opportunities to the younger generation.”
Though the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) is in favour of KTR being the next CM, an official announcement is yet to be made.
