Hyderabad: In a welcome move Telangana Roads and Buildings Minister Komatireddy Venkat Reddy asked visitors and his followers not to bring bouquets, flowers and shawls while visiting his office. Instead he asked them to donate the money to the Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF).

Komatireddy addressed the media and conveyed his New Year wishes. He said that people should not roam behind leaders for resolving the issues and it is the government which should understand and redress the problems. He said that the Congress government brought governance to the doorsteps of the public with the Praja Palana scheme.

Komatireddy said that CMRF will be used for helping the needy and asked his visitors to donate for the cause. Komatireddy targeted BRS for misuse of funds and poor quality works during their tenure. “BRS looted Telangana in their 10 years ruling. Only a few leaders made money and left the entire state in debt. We are on a mission to streamline the administration,” Komatireddy said.
