On the 7th of December, a popular Telugu Journalist and activist Mr. Teenmar Mallanna joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP.) He joined the Party in New Delhi, in the presence of National BJP leaders.
Mr. Tarun Chugh, the National General Secretary of the BJP, Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the BJP President of the Telangana unit, Mr. Dharmapuri Aravind and other leaders attended the event.
After joining the BJP, Mr. Teenmar Mallanna said, “I was the first to question the atrocities of the TRS, which was followed by many others who have followed my line. Now it is time to work, the reason why I have joined the BJP.”
Mr. Tarun Chugh welcomed Mallanna into the BJP by placing the party shawl around it. He said, “Seventeen lakh people instantly connect with Mallanna whenever he goes live. He has exposed the loot, dynastic politics, corruption and atrocities of the TRS. Mallanna joining BJP is significant because the atrocities of the Telangana government have reached New Delhi, so that people across the country would now understand the dictatorship of one family ruling the State.”
It is to be noted, Mr. Teenmar Mallanna, a strong critic of the ruling Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS.) He even raised his voice against the ruling TRS party and was charged under many criminal cases and was sent to jail. However, now he has been given the BJP support and welcomed in the BJP Party.
