Cyberabad Commissioner of Police V.C. Sajjanar said that action would be taken against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) State President Bandi Sanjay Kumar.

In regard to this, the Police is seeking legal opinion for filing a First Information Report (FIR) against Mr. Kumar.  The case would be file for his comments on Telangana Director General Police (DGP) and State Election Commission (SEC.)

CP V.C. Sajjanar asked Bandi Sanjay to speak carefully as a responsible citizen.  He further asked the people to inform police if found the money is being distributed.

Bandi Sanjay alleged that the ruling party is trying to win in the election by choosing illegal ways.   He said, “The election commission and the state DGP are being used as pawns by the ruling party. ”  He also demanded transfer of the Director General of Police (DGP) Mahendar Singh Reddy.

Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar said that the TRS party is trying to win by distributing money to the voters.   He further added, “Although the people accept money, they will only vote for (the) BJP.”

The comments came during the campaign and public gatherings for the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) elections.

The major parties in the GHMC elections fray are the TRS, the BJP, the All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) and the Indian National Congress (INC.)

The results of the GHMC elections would be announced on the 4th of December.
