Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana and the president of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) is scheduled to hold a massive public meeting.

The meeting would be organised in Khammam district on the 18th of January, confirmed the Telangana Chief Minister’s Office (CMO.)

According to sources, the massive meeting would be attended by leaders of political parties across India.  Mr. Arvind Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi and the President of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP,) Mr. Bhagwant Mann, the CM of Punjab, Mr. Pinarayi Vijayan, the CM of Kerala along with Mr. Akhilesh Yadav, the President of the Samajwadi Party (SP) and other non Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) parties are expected to attend the event in Khammam district.

This massive meeting, which would be attended by several political leaders from India, holds significance over the recent announcement of the BRS to enter the politics of different Indian states.  It is to be noted, since the official launch of the BRS, formerly known as the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) to go national, the KCR led Party is making all efforts to form an alliance in different states, especially non  BJP ruled states.

Taking the idea of entering national politics forward, Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao recently announced to back the Janata Dal (Secular) in Karnataka, for the upcoming State Assembly elections.  The BRS also announced to contest the assembly elections in the neighbouring state of Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka.

The BRS is also in touch with Mr. Akhilesh Yadav’s SP and the political parties in West Bengal, Delhi and Bihar, opposing the BJP.

Not only this, but the BRS is also planning to contest the 2024 national elections against the Narendra Modi led BJP.

Meanwhile, speaking of the Khammam meeting, the BRS cadres and concerned district officials is making elaborate arrangements for the security of KCR and other arrangements of the event.
