Hyderabad: Chief minister A Revanth Reddy directed the authorities of the finance department to prepare a budget which is easily understood by the common  public. He said that everyone in the state should understand the finances of the state by reading a simple budget document, Revanth Reddy said.

He along with deputy chief minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka conducted a review meeting on budget preparation for the financial year 2024-25 and made a few key suggestions. “Let us explain the facts related to debts, income and expenditure to the public. Let them understand the situation and partner them in the development,” Revanth told authorities.

He directed authorities to maintain transparency in preparing budget estimates and clearly allocate necessary funds to fulfill various schemes promised in the manifesto. He directed authorities to completely utilize the central government grants for the welfare of the state. Revanth asked officials to minimize the expenditure on procurement of new vehicles and asked authorities not to buy any new vehicles.
