The Members of Parliament (MPs) of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) moved an adjournment motion in the Parliament, on the 28th of March, Tuesday.

According to sources,  the BRS MPs are demanding to pass the Women’s Reservation Bill in the Lok Sabha.  Recently, Ms. K. Kavitha, the Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) of the BRS, observed a day long sit in protest, demanding the tabling of the Women’s Reservation Bill.

The BRS floor leader Mr. Nama Nageswara Rao would give the adjournment motion in Lok sabha.  In the adjournment motion, the MPs also requested for an all party meeting to discuss the Women’s Reservation Bill. 

Meanwhile, The BRS MLC Ms. K. Kavitha would soon launch a ‘Missed Call Campaign’ to further the demand for Women’s Reservation Bill.  Along with the campaign, there will also be round table discussions in colleges and universities across India to discuss the need for tabling and passing of the Women’s Reservation Bill.

The Parliament is yet to hold discussion over the Women’s Reservation Bill.
