Raghunandan Rao, the recently elected Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of the Dubbaka constituency, took the oath as the MLA.
On the 18th of November, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate won Dubbaka by election with 63,352 votes.
Mr. Rao won with a majority of 1,079 votes against the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and the Indian National Congress (INC.)
Pocharam Srinivas Reddy, the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly administered the oath to Raghunandan Rao.
Several BJP leaders congratulated him on the occasion.
The swear in event was a small affair in the presence of the senior leaders of the BJP.
