Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Telangana Unit, continued taking jibes against Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana.

As per sources, after the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government announced naming the new TRS secretariat after Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar said it to be a good decision.  However, the BJP President slammed KCR for not electing a dalit leader as Chief Minister, as promised and demanded a Dalit CM to sit in the Secretariat.

On the 15th of September, during his ‘Praja Sangram padayatra’ in the Cantonment Assembly constituency, Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar addressed the media and said, “If there is love for Dalits, then a Dalit should be seated as Chief Minister permanently as long as TRS is in power.”

In addition, Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar also took a dig against the TRS National President KCR over his decision to celebrate the Telangana Integration Day, marked on the 17th of September.

Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao recently announced to organise the opening ceremony of “Vajrotsavalu of Telangana National integration” for three days, the 16th, the 17th and the 18th of September on a grand scale across the State.  Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar said, “Only after the central government announced, KCR announced that he will celebrate National Integration Day (of the state.)  National integration Day is being celebrated to satisfy the AIMIM party.”  Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar said, “Why did he (KCR) not celebrate September 17 for the last eight years?  KCR is behaving like this by going to those who wanted to merge the region with Pakistan.  He has friends, who insult Hindu gods.  He doubts the Indian armed forces, who have undertaken surgical strikes and asks for proof.  He imprisons those who talk about Hindus.”

Moreover, highlighting the plans of the Central Government led by the BJP, Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar said, the centre would hold an official celebration of the Telangana Liberation Day at Parade Grounds, Secunderabad, on Saturday, the 17th of September.

The Union Home Minister Mr. Amit Shah would be the chief guest and events like parade, cultural programmes and many events would be held, starting from 8:00 A.M.  The Central forces would take part in the parade.
