In Hyderabad’s Lalith Nagar region, two unidentified people attacked the nephew of Mohammad Ali Sharif Azam, an All India Majlis e Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) Corporator.
As per police sources, the 18 year old victim identified as Syed Murtaza Ansari was attacked by two unidentified people on the 19th of December. Syed Murtaza Ansari, a student of class X was sitting at the office of his uncle, when the two assailants barged into the office of the AIMIM Corporator Md. Ali Sharif Azam and stabbed Ansari. The incident occurred at 2:00 P.M., which left Syed Murtaza Ansari with serious injuries, following which he was rushed to a private hospital in Kanchanbagh, where he succumbed to injuries.
The incident created a ruckus in the region, with the involvement of police, who registered a murder case and launched an investigation into the matter.
MD Amjad Ali, the Inspector of Bhavani Nagar Police said, “An unknown person attacked the nephew of an AIMIM corporator at the AIMIM Corporator’s office at Lalitha Bagh in Hyderabad’s Old City. He later died in the hospital.”
The police teams have been formed to nab the unidentified assailants.
