After joining the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on the 13th of July, two councillors of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) rejoined their home party (TRS) today, the 14th of July.

The returning of two Dubbaka councillors were welcomed by T. Harish Rao, the Finance Minister of Telangana and Member of Parliament (MP) Motha Prabhakar Reddy. The rejoining event was held at Siddipet TRS office in the presence of T. Harish Rao, Kotha Prabhakar Reddy and other TRS leaders.

According to sources, two councillors Dictionary Kanakaiah and D. Balakrishna of 7th and 8th ward respectively, joined the BJP in the presence of Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the President of BJP unit in Telangana, on Tuesday. However, in less than 24 hours, they decided to return to their original party.

The return is said to be the influence of the TRS MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy and other leaders, who spoke to the two councillors.

Now, the two councillors said that they wouldremain in the TRS party forever and would be loyal.
