Tollywood actress turned politician Ms. Jayasudha is likely to join the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

According to the sources, Ms. Jayasudha is in talks with the BJP leaders including Mr. Eatala Rajender, the Member of the Legislative (MLA) of Huzurabad, in this regard.   Notably, Mr. Eatala Rajender, who was a former leader of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) and joined the BJP recently has invited Ms. Jayasudha to join the BJP.

If BJP sources are to be believed, Ms. Jayasudha would join the BJP’s Telangana unit on the 21st of August.

As of now, Ms. Jayasudha is the leader of the Indian National Congress’s Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) unit in Telangana.

Meanwhile, with the joining of the BJP, Ms. Jayasudha is likely to make a comeback into active politics.  It is to be united, after losing in the 2014 Assembly elections, Ms. Jayasudha announced to stay away from active politics in Telangana.
