In Telangana, another incident of students falling ill amid food poisoning at the state run schools was reported.

On the 5th of November, Saturday, 20 students of Kasturba Gandhi Residential School fell ill after having breakfast.  The students were from the Girl’s Residential School in Narayankhed region of Sangareddy district, complaint of stomach ache and started vomiting.

As per sources, food poisoning is said to be the reason behind the students falling ill, who are currently being treated at a state run hospital in Sangareddy. 

This is not the first food poisoning case reported at the Telangana Government run schools.  Previously, many students of residential schools reportedly fell ill after consuming food provided at the school.

Concerned about the rising food poisoning cases at the state run schools, parents of many children asked the K. Chandrashekar Rao led Government to take action.

Meanwhile, in regard to the Sangareddy school’s food poisoning incident, details are awaited.
