Team India, on the 3rd of September, won the 2nd Test match against West Indies in the West Indies Tour 2019.

Team India performed well and won the Test match with a massive margin of 251 runs, scoring 416 in the first innings of the Test match and 168 runs in the second innings.  On the other hand, West Indies managed to score 117 in the first innings and 210 runs in the second. 

The final score of all the formats of the West Indies Tour was Test series 2-0, T20 Internationals (T20Is) 3-0 and One Day Internationals (ODIs) 2-0, as one ODI was cancelled due to rain.

West Indies won the toss and chose to bowl first in the 2nd Test match.  Taking advantage of batting first, Team India scored 416 runs in the first innings.  Hanuma Vihari was unbeaten at 111 and captain Virat Kohli scored 76 runs. Opener Mayank Agarwal was out at 55 runs and bowler Ishant Sharma scored 57 runs.

With the Test match, the West Indies Tour 2019 ended on the 3rd of September.

After the West Indies Tour 2019, India is all set to play the T20 International series against South Africa.  The T20I series will begin from the 15th of September.
