The former Indian cricket team captain Kohli is the first cricketer to reach 50 million followers on Twitter. So, we can say the he is an excellent performer both on and off the field.

With the huge number of followers, comes high earnings too. He is among the top 20 highest-earning personalities on Instagram.

Kohli is the highest earning and the most followed Indian celebrity on Instagram. According to Hooper’s 2022 Instagram Rich List, Kohli earns $1,088,000 which is Rs 8.69 crore for one sponsored post.

On the global list, he is at the 14th spot on the list of top-earning celebrities on Instagram. The number one on the list is Cristiano Ronaldo. On Instagram, Kohli has 211 million followers.

While you are struggling to gain a handful of followers on Twitter, In the year 2020, a report revealed that Kohli earns a whopping $350,101 which is Rs 2.5 crore, for one paid tweet. In 2020, he had 34 million followers.

Now, imagine with 50 million followers the charges might be double (probably).

The 2020 report also revealed that Cristiano Ronaldo was the highest-earning athlete on Twitter also.
