In the final match of the England series, team England had a historic win with over 7 wickets over India.

Reacting to the victory of England in the fifth Test against India at Edgbaston, Twitter users blamed Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Hanuma Bihari for the match loss.

Notably, after Jasprit Bumrah’s stunning performance at the Edgbaston pitch, the team England pulled off their highest-ever run chase in Tests.  Batters Joe Root and Jonny Bairstow smashed unbeaten centuries to take England over the line,  and registered a thumping 7-wicket victory over India, with a 2-2 score.

Netizens blamed the two Hanuma Vihari and Virat Kohli, saying the outcome of this Test could have been different, especially after the Indian squad under in-stand captain Jasprit Bumrah, scored 416 runs.  However, India’s new no.3 batter Hanuma Vihari fumbled an excellent opportunity on the fourth day’s play.  Furthermore, Mohammed Siraj troubled Bairstow with a couple of good deliveries, after which the England batter nicked one that went straight to Vihari at second slip. He was perplexed and couldn’t even manage to get his hands to the ball as it flew past for a boundary.

Jonny Bairstow batted brilliantly, scoring 114 runs off 145 deliveries to seal India’s loss.
